Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Lucille and Duke

Happy Monday, dear readers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready to jump start this week with another fabulous wedding. This week's Real Wedding Day Inspiration features Lucille and Duke whose incredible celebration was shot by the uber-talented Eleise Theuer. The gracious Four Seasons Washington, DC was the chosen location. When I first saw the images for this wedding, two words came to mind: Understated Elegance. From the luxurious location, to the soft color palette of green, cream and warm chocolate, richly understated elegance set the tone for the day.
Lucille's romantically designed bouquet featuring roses, hydrangea and stephanotis blossoms.
The bride making sure everything is just right.
Love how her stilettos elongate her legs.
The bride and her proud parents
Exchanging vows, promising a lifetime of love
I love the bridesmaid's dresses...very simple and definitely wearable again.
Love the cymbidium orchids highlighting the bridesmaid's bouquet. The soft greens really pop against the chocolate dress.
The joyous couple
How romantic
There is just something about a flawlessly clear wine goblet that gets me every time. Sheer perfection.
I love the fiddlehead ferns peeking out of the centerpieces.

I love this shot of the couple's first dance.
Cheers to the start of a wonderful life together.

Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Krista and Kevin

Happy Monday, dear readers! Are you ready to kick off your weekly inspiration with an amazing Do It Yourself Wedding? This week's installment of Real Wedding Day Inspiration will not disappoint. When I received this wedding from photographer Jodi Miller, I fell in love. The bride and groom, Krista and Kevin, are young and in love and it shows in the details of their wedding day celebration. I really like how warm and open it feels, very personal. Enjoy!

Krista is resplendent in her gown. Her smile is breath-taking.
A gorgeous bloom accentuates a soft up-do.
I really like her heart-shaped bouquet, soft and airy.
So loving Kevin's expression. Great shot, Jodi!

Gorgeous shot, very romantic.

Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Puja and Sheenal

Good morning, Dear Readers. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Today we are kicking off a new feature here at Dawn Easter Events: Real Wedding Day Inspiration. Every Monday we will showcase a beautiful wedding story that will hopefully serve as inspiration as you plan your own wedding day celebration. There will be plenty of amazing details, breath-taking photography and gorgeous couples in love. Each couple featured should spark your creativity for your own big day. Maybe it'll be a flower that shapes your cake, shoes to inspire your linens or a tie to give you a flash of an idea for your invitations. It's all about taking something small and developing your own signature take on it. Your Love. Your Style. Your Story.

Our first couple, Puja and Sheenal, had an incredibly stunning wedding at the Atlanta Historic Center. Eli and Jenily Silva was the amazing photography team capturing their day.
