Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Kat and Brandon

Dear readers, I have such a treat for you today! This week's Real Wedding Day Inspiration is the gorgeous Persian fusion wedding of Kat and Brandon at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. The talented photography team, Lin and Jirsa really captured the culture and tradition of a Persian wedding. The Sofreh Aghd designed by Taraneh Ajdar of Elegant Sofreh Design is absolutely breath taking! The elaborate design has strong meaning in the persian culture and symbolizes everything the wedding couple needs begin their new lives together.

The couple getting a little playful, love that!
The intricate detailing of Kat's gown is beautiful. I wonder how many hours it took to complete?

The jeweled eggs represent fertility.
The mirror and candlelabras symbolize light and brightness in the couple's future.

The contrast of the dynamic red curtains and the blue tabletop linens is gorgeous. Don't be afraid to use bold, vibrant color in your reception.
I love the custom cake toppers, too cute.
Kat's father looks so proud, beautiful father-daughter dance.

Hopefully Kat's sister isn't telling any secrets in her toast;-)

Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Rose and Andrew

Welcome back, dear readers! This week's Real Wedding Day Inspiration is a beautiful military wedding shot by the husband and wife team, Phil and Mindy, at Phindy Studios in Nashville. My favorite design elements from the day? I love the feathers in Rose's bouquet and the table for the "fallen soldier" at the reception. How touching is that?!

I love how her gown shows off her curves. Great dress selection!
Love the feathers in Rose's hair and bouquet, whimsical and stylish!

The family resemblance shared by Rose and her sisters is so strong.
The bride and her girls
The groom, Andrew and his guys. Love the bright red hair.

The ribbon and brooch detailing on the invitations is just lovely. This design idea can be customized to your wedding. Think rhinestones, dried flowers or perhaps a thicker ribbon.
Table for the Fallen Soldier. If your groom or bride is part of the armed forces, this is a lovely sentiment for your reception.

Real Wedding Day Inspiration - Jen and Dan

Happy Monday, dear readers! We are thrilled to post the incredible wedding story of Jen and Dan captured by the talented team at lunaphoto. The wedding was held at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, a beautiful luxury resort and spa in La Jolla, California and designed by Crown Weddings.
The bride and groom, Jen and Dan. This image is romantic and sexy at the same time. Their chemistry is palpable.

I love the ornamentation on the shoes

The flowers for the ceremony were lush and vibrant and full. I really like how the greenry is dripping down the sides of the chuppah.
The Jewish tradition of both parents walking the bride down the aisle is one of my favorites.

See how the flowers pop against the green bridesmaids' dresses? That's good design.

Again, the chuppah was outstanding. The hanging blooms are gorgeous here.
Now that's a first kiss!

I wish more couples chose chocolate frosted cakes. The flowers look so lovely against the dark background. I love the wine glass-esque vases surrounding the centerpiece.

Now that's what you call a party!

What were your favorite take-aways from Jen and Dan's wedding? The vibrant florals? The chocolate cake? The rocking party? Drop me a line and let me know what inspired you.
