"Kauai is known as Hawaii's must verdant islands, and the owners of Secret Beach Hideaway Resort are ensuring the isle keeps its natural beauty as they raise the bar on luxury.

Secret Beach Hideaway, a favorite of celebrities including Sylvester Stallone, Will Smith and Natasha Bedingfield, features four villas on more than 40 acres of spectacular oceanfront property. All have been designed by owner Michele Hughes, whose goal is to create a completely sustainable property and a more sustainable Kauai. Her recipe? Promoting agriculture on Kauai and less dependence on the mainland; use of a pesticide-free garden on property; and adding the new Pualani Gardens with 30,000 varieties of plants for visitors to see and savor.

Accommodations include the three-bedroom, four-bath "Villa" on four private acres on a bluff overlooking the ocean. It comes with its own pool, soaking pool, outdoor barbecue and dining area, and private outdoor gardens and spa. Rates start at $900 per night for two occupants, and the villa is also available for sale for $8.2 million.

"Pueo Point," a three-bedroom, three-bath villa on Anini Vista Drive, occupies three acres adjacent to the beach that front's Hawaii's largest reef. Its amenities include mountain and water views, private outdoor garden and spa, outdoor barbecue and dining area and gourmet kitchen. Rates start at $2,000 per night for two people, and the purchase price is $9.8 million.

All guests have access to golf, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, horseback riding and fishing; and a ten-minute trip to Princeville presents additional shopping, dining and cultural activities."
