When you work hard all week, you so look forward to the weekend. I am starting a new series of weekly posts, Friday's Escape, which will feature a beautiful destination. Each week I'll touch on a different locale, foreign or domestic, that would be perfect for a long weekend getaway, honeymoon or fabulous once in a lifetime vacay. First up: Necker Island

This luxe private escape in the British Virgin Islands is owned by none other than Sir Richard Branson of the Virgin Group. If you're planning a destination wedding celebration for your nearest and dearest, Necker Island may be the perfect spot. This ultra private location provides the perfect opportunity to spend meaningful time with your guests. The entire island may be reserved for up to 28 guests for $47K per night. (Yes, that's right, I said 47K). Otherwise, there is a 5 night minimum.
